Basic Assessments 2017

The Basic Assessment is open to anyone who has managed at least one colony of bees for a minimum of 12 months and is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to study for the BBKA module exams or husbandry assessments.  It is a practical assessment in the apiary to judge your skill and knowledge in handling the bees.

The course will consist of three theory evenings on Monday evenings in May, followed by a practical session in the apiary.  The dates are 8th, 15th and 22nd May at 7.30pm and the cost of the course will be £15 per person to cover room hire and refreshments.  There will also be a charge of £20, payable to BBKA, for the actual assessment.
