A COMBINED AUTUMN CONVENTION AND ANNUAL HONEY SHOW
on Saturday 25th October 2008

FRODSHAM COMMUNITY CENTRE
10:30 am to 4:00 pm
This Convention will incorporate a Members and Open Classes "HONEY SHOW"
PROGRAMME OF EVENTS
Entries for the Honey Show can be staged from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on the morning of the 25th October
Judging commences: 10:45 am
Judges:- Les Chirnside, Bernard Diaper and Jim Orton
| 10:30am | Reception with Coffee and Biscuits |
| 11:00 am | The Sam Hancock and E W Franklin Memorial Lecture Roger Patterson(Sussex) "Queen Rearing and Mating Problems". |
| 12.00 Noon | Visit Trade Stands: Equipment: Graham and Gill Royle, Plants: Stuart Hatton, Books: John Kinross Bee Books New and Old |
| 12:15 pm | Lunch – Provided by Pam Hatton and her team. Ticket Holders Only Soup & Roll - Apple Pie & Cream - Cheese & Biscuits |
| 1.30 pm | Visit Trade Stands |
| 1:45 pm | The Bill Horn and Dr R. Bennet Memorial Lecture Roger Patterson(Sussex) "Let's Keep Beekeeping Simple". |
| 3:00 pm | Tea & Biscuits |
| 3:15 pm | Raffle and presentation of cups etc. Judges Comments |
| 3:40 pm | Visit Honey Exhibits |
| 4:00 pm | Exhibitors remove exhibits |
| Convention Tickets: | Pre-booked £10:00, £12.00 on the door. Ticket price includes the buffet lunch (must be pre-booked) |
