Mark and Andrea Phillipson have kindly agreed to show us the techniques they employ in their apiary for swarm management. This will be of interest to both experienced beekeepers and to our new beekeepers who should be able to recognise when a colony is preparing to swarm.

Mark and Andrea will be showing us a video from their apiary which includes footage of what happens when a swarm led by a clipped queen leaves the hive. Following the video Mark has kindly agreed to lead the Q&A session on swarming and any other topical beekeeping issues you wish to raise.
